HAWAII STUDENT DIGITAL SHOWCASE (HSDS)
The Hawaii Student Digital Showcase (HSDS) is a project to help promote student produced videos from Hawai`i’s public and private schools.
With the expansion of digital media capabilities, schools have the technology to creatively produce videos for an audience beyond the classroom. To showcase these videos, the Hawaii Schools Digital Media Showcase was created to cablecast elementary, middle and high school student video projects on Teleschool’s channel 56.
This networking consortium of educators, students, and professionals is a collaborative effort for promoting media literacy and technical skills for Hawaii’s aspiring student filmmakers.
